From pristine beaches and breathtaking landscapes to cultural experiences and delectable cuisine, Maui has something for everyone. In this blog post, we will highlight five must-do activities in Maui that will make your trip truly memorable. • Snorkeling in Maui’s Underwater Wonderland: Maui is renowned for its spectacular marine life and crystal-clear waters, making snorkeling an absolute must for any visitor. Discover vibrant coral reefs, swim alongside colorful tropical fish, and, if you’re lucky, spot sea turtles and dolphins in their natural habitat. Popular snorkeling spots include Molokini Crater, Honolua Bay, and the captivating underwater gardens of Kapalua Bay. Don’t forget to bring your snorkel gear or rent equipment from local shops for an unforgettable experience.

  • Explore the Ulupalakua Ranch: Located on the slopes of Haleakala, the Ulupalakua Ranch offers a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and agritourism. Take a scenic drive through Upcountry Maui, soaking in picturesque views of rolling hills and lush pastures. At the ranch, you can embark on guided horseback rides, hike through scenic trails, and learn about the island’s ranching heritage. Don’t miss the chance to savor the famous Maui Cattle Company beef or enjoy a picnic with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

  • Delight in Wine Tasting at Maui’s Wineries: Surprised to hear about wineries in Maui? You’re in for a treat! The island is home to several award-winning wineries that produce unique and flavorful wines. Visit the Maui Wine tasting room at Ulupalakua Ranch, where you can sample their renowned pineapple wine, as well as other varieties. Additionally, make a stop at the Tedeschi Vineyards in the beautiful ‘Iao Valley, where you can savor exceptional Maui-grown wines and learn about the island’s viticulture.
  • Experience the Charm of Paia: Located on Maui’s North Shore, the vibrant town of Paia offers a refreshing blend of art, culture, and laid-back vibes. Stroll down Baldwin Avenue, lined with colorful storefronts and art galleries, and immerse yourself in the town’s unique atmosphere. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Maui Crafts Guild, showcasing the work of local artisans. With its eclectic mix of boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, Paia is the perfect place to unwind, shop for souvenirs, and savor delicious meals inspired by Hawaiian and international cuisines. One of my favorite restaurants was Paia Fish Market for lunch, and we visited Mama’s Fish House for dinner!

  • Indulge in Maui’s Culinary Delights: Maui is a food lover’s paradise, offering a plethora of dining options to satisfy any palate. From beachside food trucks serving mouthwatering shrimp plates to upscale farm-to-table restaurants, the island’s culinary scene is diverse and exceptional. Treat yourself to a traditional Hawaiian luau, where you can feast on kalua pig, poi, and fresh tropical fruits while enjoying traditional music and hula dancing. Don’t forget to sample local specialties like poke (marinated raw fish), laulau (steamed pork wrapped in taro leaves), and shave ice, a refreshing treat perfect for a warm day. We loved eating at  Merriman’s, Hali’imaile General Store, Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop, and Longhi’s Wailea.

Next time you get ready to potty train don’t let Next time you get ready to potty train don’t let ANYONE tell you that one gender is easier than the other. Kids are kids and they each have their own personality. My daughter is very much into doing things herself without help—so potty training had to be done by her not the experts (myself). I used the same potty training technique that I used with the boys, and it did take a bit longer for her to get it—but that’s because she took what I told her to do and did her own thing. 🤣 The next big step? Moving to a big girl bed. I’m not ready. 😭
Ok smoothie, ice cream—it’s all the same thing Ok smoothie, ice cream—it’s all the same thing. Elevate your @corepower drink by using the @ninjakitchen Creami. To prep my ice cream I pour my drink into the container the night before with some bananas. The next morning it’s ready, I mix it twice on lite ice cream. If it seems like it’s not mixing well just add a splash of milk. I typically like to add Lilly’s Chocolate Chips, but they were missing so I found the marshmallows and said whatever and threw some in. I then mixed it on “mix in” and it seriously tastes like a frosty. It is delicious!
