I always loved decorating for the holiday; after having kids it brought a whole new level of excitement. The second the holiday items hit the store my little one has to have it all. Since we already have so many holiday items; I try to stick to a budget when purchasing all of the trendy decorations. This year for Halloween I set my budget at $25. I made a list before I went in hopes that I would just get those things, and not add things to my cart I didn’t need.
This year I wanted to decorate the kids table with a spooky place setting, and I also wanted to decorate the mantle. I thought it may be a stretch wanting to decorate both spots, but I was trusting that with Walmart’s great prices I would find everything I needed. After breakfast, Bennett and I ventured to our favorite part of Walmart, and added everything we needed to our cart–and to my surprise we came up just shy of our budget. Today I’m sharing the kids table, and in my video below you can see how I decorated the mantle.
I purchased these little pumpkin cookies, and thought they would be perfect for an afternoon pick me up with some Halloween sprinkles!
My sons is mildly obsessed with stickers. I’m loving these coloring sheet stickers, that tear out of the book. They make perfect fillers for a Halloween favor bag.
These bags are the perfect little trick or treat bag, and also make great treat bags. They had so many different designs–Bennett definitely had a hard time choosing which ones he wanted.
I wanted something I could put crayons in and leave on the table. I found these foam pumpkins for under $1 and cut the top out, and now I have a crayon holder.
