Spring Clean with Bona Free and Simple

Bona Free and Simple, Clean with Kids, Kid Chores

Having two kids is no joke my friends. I would like to thank the Academy the parents I sat for during college, for the many times they prepared me for what was soon going to be my future. One thing I wasn’t prepared for was the amount of cleaning that two children require. Having boys that means dirt, sand, and mud on the floor the second they wake up every morning. Soon I will have a little boy crawling all around, and although he’s my second child…I’m not all about the dirt in the mouth. Every night I do a quick mop up of the house–wait, I’m sorry Roomba does it.

Although Roomba helps me at night with the chores, I sometimes enlist Bennett for help during the day. He loves helping in the house, and cleaning the floors is one of his favorite things to do. With so many different cleaners out there, I’m glad I found Bona Free and Simple–as it is free of dyes and scents but has the great working power that Bona is known for. The GREENGUARD GOLD certified cleaner allows my little guy to help me clean the house, all while removing 93.3% of allergens from hard surfaces.

If you watch my stories on Instagram, you can see we are in the process of building a home. We will have wood floor throughout except the playroom and the bathrooms. Bona Free and Simple is certified asthma and allergy friendly by the AAFA, which will ensure a healthy home for our family.

I not only use Bona Free and Simple on all the wood flooring in the house, but I also use it on our wood cabinets and our wood table. This cleaner was specially formulated to provide an effective safe clean, and seriously makes the table so clean and shiny in two seconds. It also will take off any food that is stuck to the table–seriously this stuff is magic.

The sweetest mornings are spent with these three. The sweetest mornings are spent with these three. I love to do our together learning in the morning—which includes @masterbooks and @gospelproject_ devotion. My youngest even joins in for our morning breakfast devotion, and then reads and plays while we complete social studies and science. What’s your special moment each day?

He’s a sweet kid, who loves to be silly. He likes his alone time to play, but also loves when his brother plays with him. He surprises me daily with all the things he knows, and I’m so blessed we’re going on our third year of learning together. He loves his baby sister something big, and she puts up with his shenanigans. We all love to watch him play and grow in baseball, and watching his skills develop over the years has been fun! Happy birthday sweet Bennett! 🎂

I kept thinking about party favors, and after chatting with some friends about ideas—decided on this! I loved that I wouldn’t be handing out candy or other items that may end up just thrown away. Also, ice cream was always served with cake as a kid so what better way to get your ice cream later 😉

Also, any other moms out there that their kid missed their siblings more than you? 🤦🏼‍♀️ oh well, he enjoyed it and his teacher is literally the sweetest thing! How is your first week going? Any case of the kids say the craziest thing? I love the first day of school, and it’s such a special moment to watch and see how each child takes the day and runs with it. 💙

All of this and much more for $59/Year! We love getting our groceries from Kroger as it saves so much time and money, in more places then just the grocery store.
