Chocolate Brownies with a Golden Crisp Crust

There is something about the holidays that brings out the baker in everyone. This year with a little one arriving any time I’m all about semi-homemade. I still get the smell of the fresh baked brownies in the oven, but I get a little help from my boxed friends. For this weeks treat to get me through the week I picked up some buy one get one brownies and used this Post cereal coupon on coupons.com for Golden Crisp® cereal.

I wanted to make a special treat for the holidays, not just a plain box of brownies. So to add a little to my brownies I used the Golden Crisp® cereal for a golden crust that would be baked into the bottom of my brownies. These brownies are so simple to make and you can whip them up in less then 15 minutes prep time. This is a perfect treat for movie night with your family.

With this Golden Crisp® cereal purchase you can also enter to win the SING©  movie sweepstakes with a grand prize of $100,000 or other prizes such as movie tickets, speakers, and more. There is no purchase required. You can learn all about this sweepstakes here–the movie SING© will be in theaters December 21st, 2016.

3. While crust is baking mix the brownies, oil, water, craisins, and egg with a spoon until no more lumps.

4. Pour Brownie batter over the crust and bake for about 39 minutes.

5. Place fudge topping (still in package) in warm water for 4-5 minutes, spread on top of brownies and top with Christmas sprinkles.

Next time you get ready to potty train don’t let Next time you get ready to potty train don’t let ANYONE tell you that one gender is easier than the other. Kids are kids and they each have their own personality. My daughter is very much into doing things herself without help—so potty training had to be done by her not the experts (myself). I used the same potty training technique that I used with the boys, and it did take a bit longer for her to get it—but that’s because she took what I told her to do and did her own thing. 🤣 The next big step? Moving to a big girl bed. I’m not ready. 😭
Ok smoothie, ice cream—it’s all the same thing Ok smoothie, ice cream—it’s all the same thing. Elevate your @corepower drink by using the @ninjakitchen Creami. To prep my ice cream I pour my drink into the container the night before with some bananas. The next morning it’s ready, I mix it twice on lite ice cream. If it seems like it’s not mixing well just add a splash of milk. I typically like to add Lilly’s Chocolate Chips, but they were missing so I found the marshmallows and said whatever and threw some in. I then mixed it on “mix in” and it seriously tastes like a frosty. It is delicious!
