As you can see I didn’t post my menu plan on Monday. I am exhausted, and really getting up and cooking meals is not on the top of my things to do. To prepare for Carson to arrive in the next couple of weeks, I have actually frozen the meals from Home Chef into separate bags so that when the time comes for me to cook again–everything will already be prepped and ready to go.
I am pretty lucky when it comes to the first couple weeks, as my mom set up a meal delivery for every day for 2 weeks. It’s an awesome website that people can sign up on. It allows them to meet the baby, and you still get home cooked meals. People really love it, and you don’t have an influx of people asking when they can come over to meet your new bundle–it’s already planned for you. My Type A loves it.
I have compiled five meals that will get you slowly back on your feet in the kitchen, that are all prepared before baby comes. That means dad (or whoever else is there to help) can throw them in the freezer and call it done.
