Menu Plan Monday #35

Hi friends and welcome back to Menu Plan Monday–sorry it’s a little late today. We had a wonderful weekend enjoying this beautiful weather. On Saturday we enjoyed a trip to the park, and let the little guy run all around for a good hour. We had a blast outside the rest of the day. On Sunday, I had a beautiful sprinkle to celebrate Mr. Carson who will be here in 7 weeks.

I have a doctor appointment today to check on this sweet baby, and I needed some quick go to meals. We also have a wedding Friday for one of my very great friends–I am so excited for this wedding, and praying the weather is gorgeous again! Can you believe it’s November next Tuesday? I. just. can’t.

Have a wonderful week–What are you making?

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplins

Butternut Squash and Spinach Lasagna

French Bread Pizza

Chicken Cordon Bleu

This time my mom and father in law joined and were able to experience a sonogram with us. It’s amazing all the things you can see on a 3D/4D sonogram including her sucking on the umbilical cord, each little finger, her foot on top of her head, and so much more. I highly recommend visiting @babyscene1 with your family.

Homeschooling—it’s something I have truly fall Homeschooling—it’s something I have truly fallen in love with. It allows me the best of both worlds—teaching and being home with my kids. Homeschooling allows these two to become the best of friends. It allows me to really take what we’re learning and put it into our world of play. Imaginative play is so amazing at this young age and they learn so much by just playing. Yesterday, after learning about parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines—I took the boys outside to find lines outside. They ended up making a “fire” using sticks that they found, and creating lines out of them. 🔥 If you are hesitant on homeschooling please ask me! I’d love to answer any questions!
