Finally Friday

It’s September! That means pumpkin, fall, cooler weather (ha, I wish) and it also means my sweet baby Carson will be here in about 3 months! This pregnancy has flown by and we can’t wait to meet this little guy. I had such a fantastic long week, and can not believe it’s already Friday. Here are my confessions for the week–what are you confessing?

I confess I love the North’s cooler weather. We are visiting some family up north where the weather is gorgeous right now! It makes me want to run away and just live here, instead we will be home very soon. Back to the 90s with high humidity and zika. The terrifying Zika.

I confess I’m terrified of Zika. I am not a naturally paranoid person, but with Zika—I can’t get it out of my head every time I walk outside. If I didn’t pay for Bennett’s tuition or swim class we would be staying up here until it was time to have this baby. I’m not playing. This fear is real. Anyone else?

I confess we have family pictures on Sunday evening and I am super excited about it. I wasn’t planning on doing them while out of town, but like I said I really am terrified of Zika so I’m staying far away from those blood sucking monsters and having pics done this weekend! I have a lovely fall outfit picked out for us all, and can’t wait to show you how they turned out!

I confess that I have officially began making pumpkin stuff! This week I made some delicious pumpkin brownies and pumpkin chili. I featured the pumpkin chili on the She Is blog and I even made a video showing how to make it. Remember don’t judge me too bad as its my first video, I’m so looking forward to doing more!

I confess I have this gorgeous watch that Jord sent me for a review and blog post. I am currently running the giveaway until next Sunday so you must enter!

Bless all you kindergarten teachers. Or any of tho Bless all you kindergarten teachers. Or any of those who are telling your students to leave their shoes on and eat a snack (not a meal). Also, any other moms out there that their kid missed their siblings more than you? 🤦🏼‍♀️ oh well, he enjoyed it and his teacher is literally the sweetest thing! How is your first week going? Any case of the kids say the craziest thing? I love the first day of school, and it’s such a special moment to watch and see how each child takes the day and runs with it. 💙

We love making these apple donuts—they are fun for the kids to decorate—add frosting, peanut butter, sprinkles, the list goes on! Kroger now has an amazing new membership that offers FREE next day grocery delivery. They are also giving 2X the fuel points for every dollar spent* on groceries. All of this and much more for $59/Year! We love getting our groceries from Kroger as it saves so much time and money, in more places then just the grocery store.
How are you celebrating National Book Lovers Day? How are you celebrating National Book Lovers Day? Picking books out at the library each week is my favorite part of the week when homeschooling my boys! We go through a list of books that our just right for their reading level, and put them on hold at the library. When they are ready we drive thru and pick them up. The best part? We can look at all the books we read at the end of the school year, and use that as part of our portfolio. Do you utilize your library? How do you pick out your books?

What supplements do you take? You’ve got all the What supplements do you take? You’ve got all the care routines down—but what about adding in your supplements? We’ve use @firstdaylife for the boys for a few months now, and I recently purchased the supplements for myself. I’m loving both of them! I take them each morning with my skin care routine—which helps prepare my body for a great day. 👏As a busy mom of three, I need to take care of myself as well and this is one way I do it! We start the homeschool year tomorrow, and I’m excited to get all of my daily routines in order and be prepared for the day!
