Stranded–With Netflix

Today I am linking up with Shay and Erika for another round of Stranded. This time it’s a fun one–I’m stuck on an island with Netflix. I mean really? How bad would it be to be stuck on an island with Netflix–I’m pretty sure I’d go in a heartbeat. Just sayin’. Without further ado, let’s get started.

This is one of my all time favorite shows. I remember when we use to get the DVDs from Netflix (Do they still do that?) and I would order Gilmore Girls seasons. It was amazing to me that I could “binge” watch all of the episodes. I still do to this day. No regrets.

My Mother in Law knows every show on TV–she might be a season late but she still knows about it. This was one of them. Try to get through an episode without crying. I dare you. It’s amazing–and although I’ve stopped a couple times to binge on another series, I always come back.

This show came out either when I was in high school or college, I don’t remember exactly. I stayed home my first year of college and every time a new episode was on, my dad would watch it with me. I’m telling you, it captivates everyone. Right before I had my son, my husband and I started watching it. We watched every episode before he was born. That’s saying something because that’s a whole lot of episodes.
This is such a cute show–small town, country boys, and a doctor who is taking over her dads business. It’s an easy watch and can definitely be watched when you want to take a break from the show you’re currently binging.

What Netflix show would you take with you to a deserted island?

The sweetest mornings are spent with these three. The sweetest mornings are spent with these three. I love to do our together learning in the morning—which includes @masterbooks and @gospelproject_ devotion. My youngest even joins in for our morning breakfast devotion, and then reads and plays while we complete social studies and science. What’s your special moment each day?

He’s a sweet kid, who loves to be silly. He likes his alone time to play, but also loves when his brother plays with him. He surprises me daily with all the things he knows, and I’m so blessed we’re going on our third year of learning together. He loves his baby sister something big, and she puts up with his shenanigans. We all love to watch him play and grow in baseball, and watching his skills develop over the years has been fun! Happy birthday sweet Bennett! 🎂

I kept thinking about party favors, and after chatting with some friends about ideas—decided on this! I loved that I wouldn’t be handing out candy or other items that may end up just thrown away. Also, ice cream was always served with cake as a kid so what better way to get your ice cream later 😉

Also, any other moms out there that their kid missed their siblings more than you? 🤦🏼‍♀️ oh well, he enjoyed it and his teacher is literally the sweetest thing! How is your first week going? Any case of the kids say the craziest thing? I love the first day of school, and it’s such a special moment to watch and see how each child takes the day and runs with it. 💙

Kroger now has an amazing new membership that offers FREE next day grocery delivery. They are also giving 2X the fuel points for every dollar spent* on groceries. All of this and much more for $59/Year! We love getting our groceries from Kroger as it saves so much time and money, in more places then just the grocery store.
