MIA

Seriously–is it really the last day of May?

I made it through the school year, that was my goal for this last year–and I somehow after jumping many many hurdles made it! I can’t count how many times Bennett was sick this year, I’m not even sure I really want to know. I’m just thankful we have good insurance that I’m not paying a pretty penny every time we head to the pedi. He got tubes put in early March and it seems to be helping with ear infections. He currently has a coughish/runny nose and that would have turned into a ear infection if it weren’t for tubes–so for that I’m thankful.

If you follow me on instagram you would have seen my post about our big announcement…

We are excited to welcome another Baby M into the world in December! I’m 12 weeks, and feeling way better then I ever felt with Bennett so that’s a plus. I wanted to do whatever I could to not take Zofran, and luckily haven’t had to touch many nausea helping drugs. Thank God! Bennett will be 2 years and couple months and will be attending a school two days a week part time, we are so excited for this next chapter in our lives!

I haven’t been completely MIA from blogging…

Although I may have let my blog go for a while I have been contributing over at The Mommy Spot and She is {blank space}. Too wonderful websites that are my go to for anything Mommy or just being a woman.
I also had an Etsy calling…
I have also picked up sewing and monogramming everything, and opened a little Etsy shop called Sew Darling. I posted one thing to just get a feel of how the website worked–and it sold! I have sold way more locally but hoping to get some of my stuff out there and sold. Feel free to follow my instagram account @sewdarlings.

Don’t Miss Out…

I have some awesome recipes, DIY summer projects, and fun printables coming your way in the next couple weeks! In the meantime check out some of these Summer Bucket Lists that would make your summer a real hit!

The sweetest mornings are spent with these three. The sweetest mornings are spent with these three. I love to do our together learning in the morning—which includes @masterbooks and @gospelproject_ devotion. My youngest even joins in for our morning breakfast devotion, and then reads and plays while we complete social studies and science. What’s your special moment each day?

He’s a sweet kid, who loves to be silly. He likes his alone time to play, but also loves when his brother plays with him. He surprises me daily with all the things he knows, and I’m so blessed we’re going on our third year of learning together. He loves his baby sister something big, and she puts up with his shenanigans. We all love to watch him play and grow in baseball, and watching his skills develop over the years has been fun! Happy birthday sweet Bennett! 🎂

I kept thinking about party favors, and after chatting with some friends about ideas—decided on this! I loved that I wouldn’t be handing out candy or other items that may end up just thrown away. Also, ice cream was always served with cake as a kid so what better way to get your ice cream later 😉
Bless all you kindergarten teachers. Or any of tho Bless all you kindergarten teachers. Or any of those who are telling your students to leave their shoes on and eat a snack (not a meal). Also, any other moms out there that their kid missed their siblings more than you? 🤦🏼‍♀️ oh well, he enjoyed it and his teacher is literally the sweetest thing! How is your first week going? Any case of the kids say the craziest thing? I love the first day of school, and it’s such a special moment to watch and see how each child takes the day and runs with it. 💙

We love making these apple donuts—they are fun for the kids to decorate—add frosting, peanut butter, sprinkles, the list goes on! Kroger now has an amazing new membership that offers FREE next day grocery delivery. They are also giving 2X the fuel points for every dollar spent* on groceries. All of this and much more for $59/Year! We love getting our groceries from Kroger as it saves so much time and money, in more places then just the grocery store.
