Trendy Ends Review and Giveaway!

When I first found out I was pregnant with a boy, my dreams of having thousands of bows went out the window. I thought to myself, “I wonder how many different color athletic shorts Dicks carries?”. After much shopping I realized that boys do have clothes, and cute clothes at that. I can pick some fancy bandana bibs out, and distressed jeans are so adorable on little baby boys. But the thing I love the most? The shoes.

We have so many shoes, and I love them all. One type of shoe we did not have was the baby moccasin. I have seen them sold all over the place, but I’m a lover of all things Etsy and supporting small businesses, so I did some research on there before stopping in at my local mall. That’s where I found Trendy Ends.
Trendy Ends is run by a stay at home mom of twins,  who fell in love with moccasins just like the majority of moms. As someone who loved spending her spare time doing crafts, sewing, and repurposing items, she decided to try her hand at moccasins. With some encouragement from her husband, Trendy Ends was born. She takes advantage of the “nap time hustle” and she makes her products in lots in order to keep the prices low. Early mornings and late nights are required when just starting a business, but she loves being able to do what she loves and stay home with her little ones.

One thing I always look for when shopping for shoes for myself is leather, so why not have the same musts for my little guy. Trendy Ends shoes are made from all leather, and one look and you will see that they are going to hold up and actually last you until your child’s foot gets bigger! I’m sure I will even keep these for the next baby that decides to join our family. On top of being leather, these also have an awesome elastic top that allows you to stretch them over your child’s foot. Because of the awesome elastic, you won’t be running all over Target to try to find the shoe your little one kicked off.

Another plus to these shoes? They are so light, and I don’t feel incredibly crazy for putting moccasins on my son in the Florida heat. They actually are a lot cooler then his tennis shoes, since he doesn’t have to wear socks with the moccs. These are definitely my go to shoe when going outside!

I was also weary when wanting to purchase moccasins as they looked as if my bear crawlin’ son would slip and fall as it seemed as if there was no traction. As you can see from the pictures, Bennett had no problem pushing his walker down our driveway.

And now the fun part…Trendy Ends is offering 15% off a pair of moccasins for all View From Up Here readers! I also have a giveaway going, where one lucky winner will get to choose one pair of “Trendy Ends” moccasins in your choice of color and size! Trendy Ends sent me a pair of their black colored moccasins to review with my sweet Bennett, but the opinions above are 100% my own.

My youngest even joins in for our morning breakfast devotion, and then reads and plays while we complete social studies and science. What’s your special moment each day?

He’s a sweet kid, who loves to be silly. He likes his alone time to play, but also loves when his brother plays with him. He surprises me daily with all the things he knows, and I’m so blessed we’re going on our third year of learning together. He loves his baby sister something big, and she puts up with his shenanigans. We all love to watch him play and grow in baseball, and watching his skills develop over the years has been fun! I kept thinking about party favors, and after chatting with some friends about ideas—decided on this! I loved that I wouldn’t be handing out candy or other items that may end up just thrown away. Also, ice cream was always served with cake as a kid so what better way to get your ice cream later 😉

Any case of the kids say the craziest thing? I love the first day of school, and it’s such a special moment to watch and see how each child takes the day and runs with it. 💙
