The View From Up Here

The View of a 30-Something Mom of two

Finally Friday!

I was out of town last Friday and really missed confessing to you all! Before we get to confessing, here’s what you missed this week on The View From Up Here!
Tuesday- Blueberry Avocado Muffins
Thursday- Trendy Ends Review and Giveaway

I confess that I am extremely exhausted. I have not been this tired in a really long time. I’m not sure if maybe I am catching what Bennet had this week or just exhaustion from the summer sun. Who knows but I want it to go away.

I confess that I ordered Bennett an adorable backpack–and lunchbox– for when he starts “school” in the fall. I haven’t talked much about it, but I am going back to work for 20 hours a week at a wonderful preschool here in Tampa. I would have loved to go back to my old school, but right now part time is where I need to be. Plus, my baby will only be two doors down.

I confess that I am loving Bennett’s moccasins that I received from Trendy Ends. I have an itch now for a navy and a camel colored shoe. I may need to get them with the special coupon code that I have. If you are interested, click here for my review and a giveaway!

I confess that I can’t believe my baby will be one in just a little over a month. Check out my instagram for a sneak peak of his invitation. We already ordered his gift from us. Don’t tell him but it’s a 4 in 1 trike from Radio Flyer. Anyone know where I can get a cute personalized license plate?

I confess the sweet thing was kinda sorta sick with a virus thing this past week. No fever, just lots of diapers. I did learn one thing at the doctor’s office though..mixing maalox and desitin together is a miracle butt paste. We ended up giving him Almond Milk since I guess the lactose isn’t good when having stomach issues. (?) I don’t know if we will go back to the formula since he has been on this. We will probably do a half and half of almond and whole.

This week we are discussing presidents, and how ma This week we are discussing presidents, and how many people are happy and some are upset about the president elect. However, our main focus of the week is RESPECT. Respecting the person in charge of our country, state, home, school, etc. even if you do not like them. 🇺🇸 We all have different views even if we all voted the same. I challenge you this week to respect others, to love one another even if you don’t agree with whatever is happening in our world. 💙

One reason I chose teaching was the way you could see the little minds shaped over a year. They are sponges and truly soak up everything! Everyday isn’t 🌈 and 🦋 and these boys test my patience daily, but I’m so blessed to be their teacher. Oh and the teacher gifts that come to my door daily are 👏👏 Did you homeschool this year, what did you love?

Here’s to 2021 camping! 🤣 We love exploring the state parks in our own state, and hiking the trails. Now to make a fire, and roast some more marshmallows—because really what else do you do when you make a fire?
