Finally Friday!

(My mom and sister before the ceremony)

My sister graduated 8th grade last night. It was a really nice ceremony, and was really neat to see how many students had been there since they were babies. I can’t believe she is on to high school next year. That’s crazy and amazing. She will be attending a local private christian school. We are excited to see where she goes from here!

(Playing at the play place at Akron airport)

I am so excited to be back to normalcy since we have been back from vacation! It’s always nice to get away, but even nicer to get back. I actually had left early since my husband was going to be out of town, and coming straight to Ohio from Georgia…so it was kind of silly for me to sit around and wait til the next week. We had a blast, more on packing tips for the little ones coming up. I can really say, we did not forget anything and didn’t have to make any unforseen trips to Target.

The family we stay with are have a beautiful home that is always clean, I now aspire to be like that–haha. But for real, I came home the next day and cleaned the entire house, and I have stuck with it ya’ll and it’s Friday. I’m actually pretty excited about that…Now to unpack the suitcases. Don’t judge.

We have a cute little bear crawler. While on vacation Bennett decided he would begin to crawl. He started going backwards the first few days, but quickly figured out that he has to go forwards to get to the toys he wants to get to. It’s incredibly cute.

To go with him bear crawling he has finally–took a while–figured out that he can sit up in his crib. The other day I thought he had fallen asleep and he was just crawling back and forth in his crib and playing like crazy. I guess it’s time to lower all the way, and mount the camera.

This time my mom and father in law joined and were able to experience a sonogram with us. It’s amazing all the things you can see on a 3D/4D sonogram including her sucking on the umbilical cord, each little finger, her foot on top of her head, and so much more. I highly recommend visiting @babyscene1 with your family.

Homeschooling—it’s something I have truly fall Homeschooling—it’s something I have truly fallen in love with. It allows me the best of both worlds—teaching and being home with my kids. Homeschooling allows these two to become the best of friends. It allows me to really take what we’re learning and put it into our world of play. Imaginative play is so amazing at this young age and they learn so much by just playing. Yesterday, after learning about parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines—I took the boys outside to find lines outside. They ended up making a “fire” using sticks that they found, and creating lines out of them. 🔥 If you are hesitant on homeschooling please ask me! I’d love to answer any questions!
