9 Month Update

Sorry the update is a little late, vacation was wonderful…and we enjoyed spending lots of time with family and very little on our technology—no service where we were. Back to the modern world of Tampa. Without further ado, here is my sweet baby’s update.

Weight/Length: 18lbs. 5oz, not sure of height…we have our appointment a little late this time since we were out of town.

Hair: His hair keeps getting lighter, I think it will be a dirty blonde color. Especially when he is in the sun.

Diapers: Size 3 Honest Company and Medium Gdiapers

Clothing: 6-12 Months in Gap, Old Navy, and Gymboree. We just switched over to 12 month clothes on our trip. We made the 9 month clothes last until we went on vacation so that I could just pack the 12 month clothes.

Favorite Things: Elmo, Scout, phones, balls, swing, bubbles

Likes: going on walks, being outside, throwing things on the floor, playing catch, standing up
Dislikes: When toys are too far out of his reach, when he gets overtired, when pop pop doesn’t pick him up, cutting teeth

Eating: The boy will eat anything. He eats off our plates as well as eats his food that I make him still. Loves his yogurt, pancakes, bananas, and anything breakfast related. He also loves the Happy Baby pouches.
Milestones: Bear Crawls, Stands up, feeds self finger food, walks with our help,   says “more”.

Sleeping: He has been sleeping through the night for about a month.

Mama Thoughts:
This sweet boy literally changes every day! One day he was just sitting there the next he was on his knees, and the next he was bear crawling around. I’m so excited what the next few months hold!

However, our main focus of the week is RESPECT. Respecting the person in charge of our country, state, home, school, etc. even if you do not like them. 🇺🇸 We all have different views even if we all voted the same. I challenge you this week to respect others, to love one another even if you don’t agree with whatever is happening in our world. 💙

One reason I chose teaching was the way you could see the little minds shaped over a year. They are sponges and truly soak up everything! Everyday isn’t 🌈 and 🦋 and these boys test my patience daily, but I’m so blessed to be their teacher. Oh and the teacher gifts that come to my door daily are 👏👏 Did you homeschool this year, what did you love?

Here’s to 2021 camping! 🤣 We love exploring the state parks in our own state, and hiking the trails. Now to make a fire, and roast some more marshmallows—because really what else do you do when you make a fire?
