The View of a 30-Something Mom of two

#twss Inspiration

When I first started blogging, I was worried about what people thought about the content I was producing, my grammar, the reasons behind blogging, and so much more! I had read so many great blogs, and figured I could never look or sound as great as their lives “on paper”. My first few years of blogging, I didn’t really let anyone read them, it was kind of just a diary that I wrote…and if someone came across it and read then great! It wasn’t until recently that I started not caring what people thought about my blog, and you know what? I really enjoy what I write about…it’s stuff that has meaning to me, and can help others in the world as well. I’m sure people (my sisters) still roll their eyes at my instagram name change, and some will get annoyed when I share my Facebook page or a blog post…but those are the people that need this quote. Loosen up my friends, let down your hair and forget what others have to say.

I will leave you with this, if you have dreams that seem silly…pursue them! Those dreams are usually the ones that make you something you never thought you would ever become.

A little story behind this picture. 📸 I asked m A little story behind this picture. 📸 I asked my son to take a picture of me and my daughter, he took ONE picture. When I asked him why he only took one picture he said well you said “A picture” and plus you look happy in this one. 💓 I am almost one year postpartum, when I saw the picture I quickly was disgusted with my deflated boobs, and just overall didn’t like it. After his comment though, my thoughts changed. I just had fun playing in the pool with the kids, and the deflated boobs I saw—they provided for my three sweet babies. My life changed when I had this sweet girl, I can’t explain it—but I want her to love her body. I want her to like the picture that her brother took because she looked happy. It’s so important that we teach our children to love themselves the way they were made. 💓
