My Favorite Things: His, Mine, Bennett’s

His: Fitbit Zip

Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker, Charcoal

A few weeks ago we purchased 3 fitbit zips, my FIL and MIL wanted one and we picked one up for my hubby while we were at it. There are a few things that I find a bit easier with this fitbit vs. the flex…1. it takes a watch battery, and if you read previous posts you know I lost my charger after one use. 2. it clips on your pants, easily hidden…when I am wearing my bourbon and boweties it just doesn’t go well with them. 3. It shows your steps on the screen vs. having to go to an app every time. 4. It’s cheaper-it’s currently only $47 on Amazon!

Mine: Lilly Pulitzer Mito Tote

I haven’t really talked about it much, but my MIL was diagnosed with a mitochondrial disorder a few years ago. I thought it was awesome when Lilly Pulitzer came out with a bag to support “mito” disorders. This is a great beach or swim class tote, as it is plastic lined inside and a pocket protects your phone from your wet towel and swim suits! I believe you can still purchase it here. I purchased mine probably 2 years ago, but it is showing they still have them!

Bennett’s: Munchkin Training Cup

Munchkin LATCH Transition Cup, 4 Ounce
We’ve really been working on sippy cups in this house, and this one is probably Bennett’s favorite…and mine as well. I bought maybe 3 or 4 different kinds to try, as I am wanting to wean Bennett around a year and do not want to offer the bottle. The spout of this one moves back and forth, and is a great training cup for those learning to drink out of a cup! It’s currently $8 on Amazon, which is a little pricey for cups…but it took Bennett about 2 days to figure out how to use it. The others are kinda hard to suck out of. 🙂

Bless all you kindergarten teachers. Or any of tho Bless all you kindergarten teachers. Or any of those who are telling your students to leave their shoes on and eat a snack (not a meal). Also, any other moms out there that their kid missed their siblings more than you? 🤦🏼‍♀️ oh well, he enjoyed it and his teacher is literally the sweetest thing! How is your first week going? Any case of the kids say the craziest thing? I love the first day of school, and it’s such a special moment to watch and see how each child takes the day and runs with it. 💙

We love making these apple donuts—they are fun for the kids to decorate—add frosting, peanut butter, sprinkles, the list goes on! Kroger now has an amazing new membership that offers FREE next day grocery delivery. They are also giving 2X the fuel points for every dollar spent* on groceries. All of this and much more for $59/Year! We love getting our groceries from Kroger as it saves so much time and money, in more places then just the grocery store.
How are you celebrating National Book Lovers Day? How are you celebrating National Book Lovers Day? Picking books out at the library each week is my favorite part of the week when homeschooling my boys! We go through a list of books that our just right for their reading level, and put them on hold at the library. When they are ready we drive thru and pick them up. The best part? We can look at all the books we read at the end of the school year, and use that as part of our portfolio. Do you utilize your library? How do you pick out your books?

What supplements do you take? You’ve got all the What supplements do you take? You’ve got all the care routines down—but what about adding in your supplements? We’ve use @firstdaylife for the boys for a few months now, and I recently purchased the supplements for myself. I’m loving both of them! I take them each morning with my skin care routine—which helps prepare my body for a great day. 👏As a busy mom of three, I need to take care of myself as well and this is one way I do it! We start the homeschool year tomorrow, and I’m excited to get all of my daily routines in order and be prepared for the day!
