Finally Friday

Friday, you are not my friend this week. Hubby will be working quite a bit this weekend, but he will be at the dedication on Saturday and that’s all that really matters in the grand scheme of things! Here are my confessions:
I confess that I am really excited about Bennett’s dedication this week at our church. Our whole family will be there to celebrate, and it truly is an amazing ceremony. I want Bennett to grow up loving church and learning all about Jesus, just as I did. This is a great way to start that path in his life.

Proverbs 22:6 Printable

I confess that I really missed going to Stroller Strides and swim class this week. Bennett was still getting over his upper respiratory thing that he had going on, and it finally is passing. THANK THE LORD. I didn’t want to get anyone sick that we are around at any of these places, so we stayed at home. Tomorrow or Saturday though, I am hoping to get out and about.

I made some good Brownies for my MIL’s birthday on Wednesday. There was really no time to look up some great recipe on Pinterest, so I kinda just did my thing. They were delicious, and only used one bowl. There was no time for extra dishes yesterday, and Lord knows I am the queen of using 10 bowls for one recipe…OOPS!

I confess that I am OVER trying to get Bennett to drink something about of his sippy cup. He can drink out of any of the cups I got him, he can tip it up, suck out of them…the whole shebang. All of a sudden, he pushes the cup away…doesn’t want to even try anything out of his cup. If you know of anyway of showing him that what’s inside the cup is great stuff LET ME KNOW!

My boy is growing so much! This week alone he has learned to say boo (peek a boo), wave hello (just continues to do it the whole time he is talking to someone), and push himself to the side in his walker. We are continuing to work on saying dada, he has said mama plenty of times…but he has to be close to saying dada right?

This time my mom and father in law joined and were able to experience a sonogram with us. It’s amazing all the things you can see on a 3D/4D sonogram including her sucking on the umbilical cord, each little finger, her foot on top of her head, and so much more. I highly recommend visiting @babyscene1 with your family.

Homeschooling—it’s something I have truly fall Homeschooling—it’s something I have truly fallen in love with. It allows me the best of both worlds—teaching and being home with my kids. Homeschooling allows these two to become the best of friends. It allows me to really take what we’re learning and put it into our world of play. Imaginative play is so amazing at this young age and they learn so much by just playing. Yesterday, after learning about parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines—I took the boys outside to find lines outside. They ended up making a “fire” using sticks that they found, and creating lines out of them. 🔥 If you are hesitant on homeschooling please ask me! I’d love to answer any questions!
