These are a Few of My Favorite Things: Jewelry

This is my necklace collection, and actually after taking this picture I found 5 more. Oops! A lot of these necklaces I have purchased from Very Jane (now Jane), Francesca’s, Target, and some other Boutiques. I had the one mannequin on the left, but soon realized I had way too many was buying too many necklaces to have only one. Over to the right is my bracelet, earring, and ring collection. I’m not too big on the earrings, and tend to lose earrings a few weeks after I wear them. They generally turn up in a bag somewhere…then disappear again. I chose some of my favorite pieces from my jewelry collection to share today!

1. Hair Rubber Bands– You may not think this is actually part of a jewelry collection, but to me it is! I think that anything you use to accessorize is considered a type of jewelry. I can’t wait for my hair to grow out some more and I can start wearing them again!
2. Headbands– I have talked about sweaty bands quite a bit on here, but my other obsession is pretty headbands. I believe I have bought the majority from Francesca’s. These are so easy to throw in your hair when you forgot chose not to wash the night before.
3. Bourbon and Boweties and Other Stacking Bracelets- I received the Bourbon and Boweties bracelets for Christmas as well as the Florida bracelet. I then bought the “Love” bracelet on Jane just 2 weeks ago.

4. Engagement Ring and Wedding Band and Tiffany Bracelet- obviously you know my husband gave me the engagement and wedding band when we got engaged (8/14/12) and married (6/29/13). He gave me the Tiffany’s bracelet our first Christmas (12/25/08) together (I think he wanted me to stick around). I totally forgot to take my heart Tiffany’s ring off my finger to take a picture…but he got me that as well on an anniversary.

5. Kate Spade Mrs. Necklace and Pearls- I received the Kate Spade necklace from my husband the morning of my wedding. I love this..but the earrings, well…err..don’t ask me where they are. The pearls I received from my mom the morning of my wedding as well. I wore them with my dress that day.

Down the ages, jewellery has been an integral part of our costume. It was considered as a sign of prosperity, a symbol of elegance and class. For centuries, people have experimented with different types of jewelleries including fashion jewellery, diamond jewellery, platinum jewellery and so forth. mens opal rings

High end jewelry stores always have a bigger and better selection of jewelry items than available in retail shops. While shopping in any such store, make sure you have specified your requirement and read through its exchange policy on any vintage item that you would like to purchase at discounted prices. jewelry store phoenix az

Diamond engagement rings are the best gift which you can give to your lady at the time of your proposal. But before buying your ring you must make sure of the place and if you want to buy your ring from the best place then you must buy your ring online. Scottsdale diamonds

But it's not all about money. Many items of jewellery, such as brooches, clasps, pins and buckles originated as purely functional items, evolving later into decorative items as clothing itself evolved, and the functional requirement in support of clothing diminished. minimalist jewellery

However, our main focus of the week is RESPECT. Respecting the person in charge of our country, state, home, school, etc. even if you do not like them. 🇺🇸 We all have different views even if we all voted the same. I challenge you this week to respect others, to love one another even if you don’t agree with whatever is happening in our world. 💙

One reason I chose teaching was the way you could see the little minds shaped over a year. They are sponges and truly soak up everything! Everyday isn’t 🌈 and 🦋 and these boys test my patience daily, but I’m so blessed to be their teacher. Oh and the teacher gifts that come to my door daily are 👏👏 Did you homeschool this year, what did you love?
