Saying I Love You

People warn that when you have kids you no longer have time for yourself and your husband. You hear HORROR stories about couples having separate rooms, separate beds, separate dinner times…you name it they were separate. We were determined we wouldn’t fall into this category. We make time for each other every night and enjoy each others company on the weekend. I would be lying if I told you it’s all sunshine and butterflies at our house 24/7. I get annoyed when he snores, I may go crazy slightly insane on him when he forgets my food (I’m feeding our child–do not forget a nursing moms food!), and I may roll my eyes at him when he tells me I am wrong. Our marriage wouldn’t be fun if all this did’t take place though. Plus, who doesn’t bicker with their best friend?

On a daily basis, I probably tell Nic 100  30 times how much I love him. I love hearing it back, and makes me all giddy when he says it. But what else do I do to tell him I Love Him? I have chosen my top 14 ways to tell your hubby how much you love him with actually saying the words “I Love You”.

1. Make his favorite meal for dinner.
2. Cuddle.
3. Put away computer/iPad and watch a movie.
4. Surprise visit to work.
5. Go on a date that he chooses.
6. Work with him on one of his hobbies.
7. Pack his lunch.
8. Play our song.
9. Kiss every morning.
10. Write love notes in his lunch.
11. Bake cookies.
12. Tell him how handsome he is.
13. Let him sleep in.
14. Kiss Goodnight every night.

How are you celebrating National Book Lovers Day? How are you celebrating National Book Lovers Day? Picking books out at the library each week is my favorite part of the week when homeschooling my boys! We go through a list of books that our just right for their reading level, and put them on hold at the library. When they are ready we drive thru and pick them up. The best part? We can look at all the books we read at the end of the school year, and use that as part of our portfolio. Do you utilize your library? How do you pick out your books?

We’ve use @firstdaylife for the boys for a few months now, and I recently purchased the supplements for myself. I’m loving both of them! I take them each morning with my skin care routine—which helps prepare my body for a great day. 👏As a busy mom of three, I need to take care of myself as well and this is one way I do it! We start the homeschool year tomorrow, and I’m excited to get all of my daily routines in order and be prepared for the day!
