1. Graco Pack N Play-This was purchased a few weeks before Bennett was born. We had one already that I loved but once I saw the changing table attached to this one I knew I had to have it. This was by our bed for the first month, which made changing blow outs at midnight wonderful. The whole point of having baby by your bed is to not walk around the house in the middle of the night. This made that possible.

{Bennett and I getting some much needed rest at One Month}

2. Daydreamer (Seen above in the pack n play)– This was placed in the bassinet part of the pack n play. We brought this everywhere in the house. The first week Nic was blessed I was blessed with Nic staying home that week. Bennett spent time watching his daddy work at the table, watched us eat dinner, hung out by the couch with us, etc. This thing can be taken anywhere!

3. MamaRoo- Bennett used this for the first 5 months of his life. It basically imitates a parent, car, kangaroo, ocean…it put Bennett to sleep instantly in the first 2 months. He then eventually wasn’t able to fall asleep in it, but loved it to look outside and watch the squirrels, trees, and lizards.

4. Aden and Anais Muslin Swaddles– I can not even begin to tell you how many people this summer said I had “plenty of blankets”. My sister Ally and I spent a big chunk of summer together. I do believe that the entire summer consisted of buying Aden and Anais blankets off the resell page and finding the HTF blankets. Once Bennett arrived I actually ordered a few more bc he had reflux so bad we went through them so fast! I think I probably have 25 of these?

5. Shea Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner-  My cousin told me about this shampoo and conditioner, and I am so glad she did! We are a bathe every night family and this never dried his skin out and smells so good! It is a little expensive, but the bottle lasted 4 months.

6. Mam Pacifier- We tried every pacifier! I wanted him to take the cute Nuks or the ones that are connected to the wubbanubs, but nope his paci of choice were the Mam’s. Now we have one for every room  a lot!

7. Puj Tub– This is an awesome tub! It actually folds up with magnets and fits into a regular bathroom sink. Then fold flats for easy storage, or even to pack in your suitcase and bring on vacation! The price is kinda steep for a piece of foam, but I found mine on the local resell site for $10.

8. Gowns- Bennett basically lived in these his first few weeks. It was really easy to change him and not wake, and also easy to get dressed quickly. The doctors and nurses at the hospital loved them because they didn’t have to put pants back on, etc.
9. Baby Bjorn Babysitter- This is such a great chair! It has a lower setting for the wee little babies, but it then sits up almost completely straight. We had to roll blankets up around him in the beginning so that he wouldn’t lean to the side, etc. But he now loves it, and loves to sit and watch everything outside!

10. Ergo– I used this from the very beginning. I used it a lot when he was fighting those witching hours, and also when we were around a lot of people. He slept so great in it, the insert was a little hot so we didn’t really use it much but instead used a blanket to lift it up.

Next time you get ready to potty train don’t let Next time you get ready to potty train don’t let ANYONE tell you that one gender is easier than the other. Kids are kids and they each have their own personality. My daughter is very much into doing things herself without help—so potty training had to be done by her not the experts (myself). I used the same potty training technique that I used with the boys, and it did take a bit longer for her to get it—but that’s because she took what I told her to do and did her own thing. 🤣 The next big step? Moving to a big girl bed. I’m not ready. 😭
Ok smoothie, ice cream—it’s all the same thing Ok smoothie, ice cream—it’s all the same thing. Elevate your @corepower drink by using the @ninjakitchen Creami. To prep my ice cream I pour my drink into the container the night before with some bananas. The next morning it’s ready, I mix it twice on lite ice cream. If it seems like it’s not mixing well just add a splash of milk. I typically like to add Lilly’s Chocolate Chips, but they were missing so I found the marshmallows and said whatever and threw some in. I then mixed it on “mix in” and it seriously tastes like a frosty. It is delicious!
