Many Blessings

It has been a while! I really thought I would be writing throughout this year, but with third grade you do not have down time. My life has gained so many blessings this year, which I am excited to start sharing! I got married in June to my sweetheart of 5 years; it was such a wonderful day and I am so ecstatic that I get to spend my life with such a handsome man. We traveled to California for our honeymoon, and enjoyed a trip to DisneyLand and San Diego. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back. A few months later (December) we found out we were expecting!!! We couldn’t believe it had happened so quickly, and shared the news right away with our family. We are happy to announce that we are having a sweet sweet baby boy. We will be naming him Bennett Nicolas, Nicolas after his daddy. I will be taking next year off as a full time teacher, and enjoying my time with the little one and eventually working part time again.  I am excited to start this journey as a mommy, and can’t wait to share the journey with everyone.

Today my sweet girl turns one. Words can’t say h Today my sweet girl turns one. Words can’t say how much she means to our family—she was the perfect addition on May 28, 2021. She’s wild, but relaxed. Content, but doesn’t mind a schedule. Loves to eat, but definitely has favorites. She loves big, but only when she wants to. She loves to sleep, PTL 👏. I truly can’t believe it’s been a year already, may God continue to watch over you and I can’t wait to see how you grow this next year. Happy Birthday my sweet baby girl!
A little story behind this picture. 📸 I asked m A little story behind this picture. 📸 I asked my son to take a picture of me and my daughter, he took ONE picture. When I asked him why he only took one picture he said well you said “A picture” and plus you look happy in this one. 💓 I am almost one year postpartum, when I saw the picture I quickly was disgusted with my deflated boobs, and just overall didn’t like it. After his comment though, my thoughts changed. I just had fun playing in the pool with the kids, and the deflated boobs I saw—they provided for my three sweet babies. My life changed when I had this sweet girl, I can’t explain it—but I want her to love her body. I want her to like the picture that her brother took because she looked happy. It’s so important that we teach our children to love themselves the way they were made. 💓
