Menu Plan Monday: Quick Breakfast

Welcome back to the school year, sports, and busy schedules. There are many nights as a mom that I feel like just grabbing dinner out because it's easier. It's therapy for me to cook a meal though, so I do it anyways. I challenge you to cook at least 2 home cooked meals this week. Think of the money you are saving, maybe even take that money and put towards a vacation. Involve the kids, cook while they're doing their homework or relaxing at the end of the day.

This week I'm going to try for two meals home cooked--but I know my hubs will be busy this week so it might not even be fathomable. Basically, I don't cook for one and a half. It's just a waste of time and to be honest my hips hurt to bad for it. So this week I'm going to leave you with three breakfast ideas that are quick and easy for you or the kiddos!
I have another great almond butter breakfast recipe coming to you this week--my son has fallen in love with them and calls them cookies! SCORE. If you're looking for more ideas for breakfast check out another post I've done about overnight oats--check it out here.

  2. Frozen yogurt bites - yum!

I too try to make two home cooked meals during the school year as well. Which is better than what we do during the summer as we have a teenager that may or may not have plans. So, it's hard to plan but at least during the school year, I know her weekday schedule & I can cook two meals per week - Monday & Wednesday. :)
