The New Mom's Guide to Strollers

Buying a stroller is almost like buying a new car for your little one.

City Select, Pockit, City Mini, Bugaboo Donket

The amount of strollers I have owned is mildly insane. Seriously. I will say that I have my favorites now, and I definitely know a thing or two about strollers. Strollers are expensive, and sometimes you realize it really doesn't do everything you thought it would do. Think taking it to the beach or on a flight. Strollers have come so far since we were born or even 10 years ago. You walk in a store and there are no longer 3 options to choose from. It becomes overwhelming and you just purchase whatever one will go with your car seat.

Don't worry, I've done the research for you. These are my absolute favorite strollers--now all you have to do is decide. Which one will it be?

Organize Children's Masterpieces

As a teacher I was all about "recycling" scribbled on paper. Now as a mom, I see a masterpiece out of scribbles and circles.

I have stacks of what I consider artwork--I can not get myself to throw it out. It's bad ya'll. Recently, I figured I had to do something with all of the work and that the piles that were accumulating just weren't cute or allowing me to enjoy the artwork that my littles were creating. With the school year ending, I have come up with some ideas to help you organize your kiddos work and declutter! Cause I am sure if you are anything like me--that painting of a heart is just too cute to throw away.

Spring Clean with Bona Free and Simple

Bona Free and Simple, Clean with Kids, Kid Chores
Having two kids is no joke my friends. I would like to thank the Academy the parents I sat for during college, for the many times they prepared me for what was soon going to be my future. One thing I wasn't prepared for was the amount of cleaning that two children require. Having boys that means dirt, sand, and mud on the floor the second they wake up every morning. Soon I will have a little boy crawling all around, and although he's my second child...I'm not all about the dirt in the mouth. Every night I do a quick mop up of the house--wait, I'm sorry Roomba does it.

Three Month Update and Pumping Must Haves!

Three Months Guys--I'm in disbelief that it has already been three months with this sweet boy.

Three Month Baby Pictures Monthly Pictures

It's so hard when your last baby is growing and changing right in front of your eyes. You kinda have a love/hate relationship with it. You love that they are hitting their milestones and growing, but you hate that your brand new baby is no longer brand new. This sweet boy had his first family trip to Disney this month, and he also went to the fair and Dinosaur World. I like to say that Carson has developed his survivor mode. If Bennett comes near him with tons of toys he no longer lets out yells or screams he kinda just deals. I love the relationship these two already have.

3 Essential Toddler Apps

I received a KidloLand to share in an honest review. This post also contains affiliate links. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Essential Toddler Apps Kidloland, ABCmouse
With a new baby, screen time was inevitable in this house. We try to keep the iPad with my purse so it can be used only in the car, but when I'm home alone with the boys and trying to get Carson settled I sometimes hand it over for a few minutes. Until I can resume playing cars with my little gearhead. We started with simple Fisher Price Laugh and Learn apps when he was younger to get him used to navigating the iPad, and now he can navigate in and out of the apps to find what he's looking for. If your little one hasn't quite grasped the ins and outs of starting a new app--put the iPad on guided access so they can't get out of the app you started.
