All Things Swim for Moms

Swimsuit shopping--the time everyone loves and hates all at the same time! The first warm day of the year, everyone wants to run to the beach. Until you remember its swimsuit season, and you have no idea what you're going to wear while you are lugging your two toddlers and all the beach toys around. I love a knee length coverup, a one piece (without a ton of ties), and some quick rubber flip flops

One of my musts is a flattering suit to wear for dates to the beach or when I am with my girlfriends sans kids. I don't want my swim suit and coverup to scream MOM if I'm enjoying two seconds without my kids. These are some of my favorites! What are your favorite mom suits?

Banana Smoothie with Hood Calorie Countdown

This post was sponsored by Hood as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Getting my oldest to drink milk was always so difficult. He's always been a huge water drinker, and always asks for water with any of his meals. Breakfast is by far his favorite and most filling meal of the day, and if you have read my Morning Routine post you know all about what we enjoy eating in the morning. I recently discovered a drink that he will not put down, and that is Banana Smoothie using Hood Calorie Countdown.

Snacks for your Littles

Somehow kids are always hungry. You think you've fed them enough, and they get down from their high chair and walk right over to the pantry. How is that even possible?!

Healthy snacks for your kids. healthy kids, healthy snacks, snacks for lunches, lunch snacks, quick snacks, yogurt for baby, dairy snacks, veggie snacks, fruit snacks, back to school snacks, new year snacks

My little men love food. They eat three meals a day, and then usually two or three snacks in between meals. I'm telling you, it's a lot of food. I've really perfected the art of snacking for little ones though. I used to stare at the pantry and just beg for something healthy to jump out at me. Now I prepare for snacks for the week when I am meal planning and it has made it so much easier!

Morning Routine

One thing about a morning routine is that is doesn't matter if you are a stay at home mom, working mom, single, etc. A morning routine is a great way to start the day.

When I started this whole mom thing, I was determined to still have my morning time. As a stay at home mom I craved the quietness of the mornings, and needed it to prepare myself for the busy day ahead while enjoying a little something to eat. I began setting my alarm for 6AM daily, and enjoying the stillness of the house. Luckily, I am the person who has always loved mornings, I've rarely slept in past 8:30AM--however, you will find me taking a quick cat nap daily. I've got three tips for you ro start a morning routine this new year.

Gift Guide for Him

One thing I love about holidays is picking out gifts for my husband. Big or small they are all on my radar. I never have a difficult time--and really any time I see something at the store I know he would love, I jot it down to give as a gift sometime throughout the year. So many of these items I have bought for gifts, and if not they will most likely be given sometime this year.  This is a gift guide that will be very useful when you are looking for the perfect gift for the guy in your life. Check out my other gift guides for him here and here
